Lindley Habilitation Services Committees and Boards 

     

 

   

Lindley Habilitation Services has 3 Advisory Groups. Two of the advisory groups assist the agency in assuring Consumer rights, appropriate consumer care, and the review and approval of consumer needs which require a committee oversight.

The Financial Governing Body assists in Financial areas of support in planning and business practices. Please see descriptions below for further information.

The Advisory Board

The Advisory Board consists of interested business leaders, community activists and family members. These members are appointed by the CEO of the agency and serves as an intermediary approval of the Human Rights Committee to ensure that the client’s person-centered care needs are met until the next HRC quarterly meeting. The Advisory Board members review and give temporary approval to items; such as, approval of the process for NCI core and core plus trainings, behavior plans, and restrictive devices. Members also serve in an advisory capacity to the CEO in areas such as Medicaid changes, consumer or agency needs, or other items of significance to business operations.

We welcome any family members, consumers, or any interested employee that would like to volunteer to be a member on our Human Rights Committee. The HRC reviews Incident Reports from the previous quarter, Grievances, and survey results that pertain to consumer care. This committee meets quarterly and is the final approval in the process for NCI core and core plus trainings, behavior plans, and restrictive devices. Members give needed insights to the agency to ensure that Person-Centered Care meets not only the agencies standards but also the families and other interested members in the community.

The Financial Governing Body


The Financial Governing Body consists of interested business leaders. These members are appointed by the CEO of the agency and serves as a support to the Agencies accounting department. The Financial Governing Body members review and give input in areas of budgeting, long and short term strategic planning, and advice in dealing with the community and best business practices.
